As you can see from the data above - the Rock Xtreme Ti
is claiming its right as a Gaming Notebook. It does have
some explosive power behind it - as well as the some of the
best 'looks' you're ever see at a LAN party!
Its power comes from a 3.4GHz Intel Pentium 4 Extreme processor
coupled with 1024MB DDR SDRAM and a 60GB hard drive. Perhaps,
the most important to gamers, the ATi Mobility Radeon 9700 graphic
sub-system with 128MB of its own memory.
The display is a 15-inch TFT X-Glass with resolutions up to
1,400 x 1,050, with the screen being backlit from two sources -
giving a sharper control of light.
The sound system is good and the keyboard is adequate. And the
Ti Extreme has all the standard connections including an Internal
Gigabit LAN (RJ45), 15-Pin VGA, S-Video, PS/2 External Mouse or
Keyboard, four USB 2.0 IEEE 1394 port, 25-Pin EPP / ECP, Internal
56k Modem (RJ11), 802.11g Internal Wireless LAN , and Bluetooth Module.
All RockDirect products come with a 'peace of mind' three year
'collect and return' warranty. UK Laptops.
The only major drawback is battery life, a system supporting
all this power and all these features will only give you
a mere 45 minutes. This is not a mobile notebook.
Gamers should know that the Xtreme Ti is designed with the future
in mind - you have the ability to upgrade your graphics processor
unit with new graphics cards as they come onto the market. The
Xtreme Ti should allow for years of gaming enjoyment at the highest
performance level possible.
Gamers should put this machine on their list when picking
the top 'mobile desktop'!

Cons: Short battery life, some have noted active fans and a small amount of heating.
