Overall Assessment/Reviews ...Very Good to Raving! MSI Wind U100 The MSI Wind comes highly rated and highly recommended, but does it live up to those good reviews? The Wind is a play on the words: "Wi-Fi Network Device" and is probably a very good name for this lightweight utraportable netbook or mini-laptop. It only measures 7 inches wide by 10.23 inches long and weighs a measly 2.6 pounds - so it is indeed very a portable and mobile device. Considering you can get up to 6 hours with the 6-cell battery, the MSI Wind can usually handle most of your daily computer chores without a recharge. It also sports a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB of RAM (can hold up to 2 Gigs), 10-inch (1024 x 600-pixel resolution) LCD screen, 160 GB 5400 RPM (SATA) hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus - Windows XP Home operating system. The Wind also has a 1.3-megapixel webcam which is located in the bezel above the LCD and an integrated microphone - again proving this a cabable mobile device that will keep you connected with friends and colleagues.
