Alienware 14, Alienware 17 and Alienware 18 Are Introduced
Written by Titus Hoskins

So familiar – yet different. These newly re-designed Alienware M14x,
M17x and M18x are different on the outside and inside. Dell has taken
the introduction of Intel’s 4th Generation Core (Haswell) processors
to update its popular line of gaming notebooks, which regularly makes
the top 10 list.

Most noteworthy will be the upgrade to the Haswell processors which
gives 15% more power but can also handle graphics in the CPU itself,
saving battery life. These rigs also feature the latest Nvidia 700
series of cards which should easily handle most modern video games.

The outside appearance has also changed – with a more angular look
and design. Alienware is using anodized aluminum on the outer shell
and a magnesium alloy for the body, and it should also be noted that
the keyboard is now protected by a reinforced plate on each notebook.

The appearance is supposed to mimic a jet engine, fully vented by heat
exhaust vents at the rear.

For the first time, dual Nvidia Graphics Cards comes as standard on
the Alienware 18. The Alienware 17 has a 3D option, and the Alienware 14
comes with an Anti-glare full HD display.

Is Google The New McCarthy?

Google McCarthyism Link

Is Google The New McCarthy?
Written by Titus Hoskins

It was while I was reading a WebProNews Article entitled
“Google Has People Scared To Link To Their Own Content”
that I realized for many webmasters and site owners, Google
has become our boogieman. One which scares the “Bejesus” out
of any honest hard-working webmaster!

It also got me thinking about historical equivalent figures
or situations that would match our current dilemma with Google.
The best I could come up with was McCarthy or McCarthyism.
The type of fear-mongering and downright hysteria associated
with Google’s latest series of Algorithm Updates such as Panda
and Penguin can be compared to what happened in the 50’s McCarthy
era.

Some may argue McCarthyism was too serious an issue or caused
too much damage to innocent folks to be applied to Google and
the SEO world. However, don’t ask the webmasters and site owners
who have lost their livelihoods because of the recent Google
updates – for them, suddenly losing everything is not a joke
and is definitely a serious matter.

Many more webmasters are struggling in very difficult times and
simply can’t figure out why Google has turned so negative in
regards to their site. Most are doing strictly Whitehat SEO and
feel their site has been “blacklisted” by Google for some unknown
errors along the way.

This all reflects back to the McCarthy era where people were
basically fighting ghosts and untruths, but the suffering was
very real. The same can be said for the Panda and Penguin Updates.

Anyway, I have written a very detailed article on whole Panda/Penguin
fallout and how it applies to webmasters. You may find if helpful
in understanding this situation better. You can read it here:
