\n(who has a lot to gain from this change) YSM
\nor Yahoo! Search Marketing now allows direct
\nlinking to their advertisers.<\/p>\n

“After more than six months in the making and much
\ncustomer feedback and testing, we are pleased to
\nannounce that Yahoo! Search Marketing (YSM) has
\nrecently updated its editorial policies and will
\nnow allow U.S. publishers to direct link to their
\nadvertisers. In the past, YSM’s editorial policy
\nprevented publishers from linking directly to their
\nadvertiser partners and required that traffic be sent
\nfirst to the publisher’s Web site. The new policy
\neliminates this restriction and opens a much broader
\nsearch marketing opportunity for publishers.<\/p>\n
This YSM policy change is the result of a strong
\nrelationship between Commission Junction and YSM.
\nWe have spent more than six months working with YSM
\nto enact the new editorial policy and are very pleased
\nthat this effort has resulted in changes that are
\nsure to create opportunities for our publishers and
\nadvertisers.<\/p>\n
We find this policy change exciting on several levels.
\nFirst, this is a significant shift for YSM and could
\nbe a great opportunity for your search marketing campaigns.

\nThis is an enormous and significant change if
\nyou’re into PPC advertising… imagine linking
\ndirecting to Amazon instead of going through a

It opens up a whole new marketing strategy for
\nthose who are actively using YSM.\u00c2 If I recall
\ncorrectly, Microsoft’s adCenter already offers
\nthis feature.<\/p>\n

\naffiliate program. You can promote one link and if
\nyour referral signs up for any other product or service
