\nbeing ranked lower because the search engines think
\nit is duplicate content and penalizes it.<\/p>\n
\nplaces in the rankings can mean I lose hundreds of dollars in commissions,
\nso anything affecting my rankings obviously gets my immediate attention.<\/p>\n
\nconcern and I have made an ongoing mental note to myself to find
\nout everything I can about it.<\/p>\n
\narticle marketing – the same articles are featured on hundreds,
\nsome times thousands of sites across the web. Naturally, I am
\nworried these articles will dilute or lower my rankings rather
\nthen accomplish the intended purpose of getting higher rankings.<\/p>\n
\nof these articles. I don’t use the same keywords over and over
\nagain as I am nearly 99% positive Google has a “keyword use”
\nquota – repeat the same keyword phrase too often and your highly
\nlinked content will be lowered around 50 or 60 places, basically
\ntaking it out of the search results. Been there, done that!<\/p>\n
\nsites so only that site has the article – thus eliminating
\nthe whole duplicate content issue.<\/p>\n
\nso that traffic and PageRank flows to the URL I want ranked.
\nYou can also use your Google Webmaster Tool account to show
\nwhich version of your site you want ranked or featured:
\nwith www or without the www.<\/p>\n
\njuice – you want to pass along this ranking juice to the appropriate
\npage or content. This can raise your rankings, especially in
\nGoogle.<\/p>\n
\nto tell the search engines this is the page\/content you want

\nhas shown me that Google doesn’t always give the right information,
\nbut for the most part, you can follow what they say. Lately, over
\nthe last year or so, Google seems to have made a major policy change
\nand are telling webmasters a lot more information on how they (Google)
\nrank their index.<\/p>\n
