So far I am really impressed with Google+, it’s clean,
\nsimple and very easy to use. As I have said before, I am
\nnot into the whole “social” scene as it is not my cup
\nof tea, but I do have a lot of these programs like Twitter,
\nMySpace, YouTube, Facebook… to promote my websites and
\nonline marketing.<\/p>\n

I have never been a very big user of Facebook, I log in
\nonce or twice every two months or so… only to discover I
\nhave missed someone’s birthday and people are ticked off
\nat me. Besides, one of my major problems with Facebook, I
\ncan’t separate my business contacts with my close friends and
\nfamily. You simply don’t want your business associates to
\nknow or see what you did at yesterday’s outdoor BBQ or that
\nall night anniversary party that ended when the sun came up.<\/p>\n

Now with Google+ and the “Circles” feature you can keep or
\nseparate your different types of contacts into different
\ngroups. You can share the real private stuff only with
\nthose close friends and family – as it should be.<\/p>\n

This will be a major selling point for Google+ and one
\nof its biggest drawing cards.<\/p>\n

Sure Facebook will lose more than a few users but does
\nit really have to worry? I don’t think so… at least not
\nin the short term.<\/p>\n

When I asked my sister about Google+, she said, “What
\nis Google+?”<\/p>\n

Could be wrong but that may be a common answer with
\nmany die-hard Facebook users. They simply don’t know
\nabout Google+ and\/or couldn’t care less.<\/p>\n

My sister logs into Facebook each morning to check what’s
\nhappening among her contacts… she and people like her won’t
\nbe switching over to Google+ any time soon.<\/p>\n

Computer geeks and marketing types… have probably already
\nswitched over to Google+, but considering the world population
\nas a whole, these users will be a small minority.<\/p>\n

More than a few social experts have said, it is Twitter who
\nreally has to worry about Google+ and I agree. This new program
\nfrom Google has more of an appeal to me as a Twitter
\nuser than a Facebook user.<\/p>\n

In other words, my Facebook contacts can stay where they are,
\nand I have no intention of moving then over to Google+.
\nHowever, I can’t say the same thing about my Twitter contacts,
\nI want them in my Google+ account… if I am not alone in
\nthat feeling, then Google+ could spell big trouble for Twitter.

\nFirst Impressions<\/b>

\nFirst impressions, Google+ feels like an expanded version of
\nTwitter, designed for those who find 142 characters just too
\nlimiting. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

My Predictions for what they’re worth, the outlook for Google+
\nseems very promising… and not because it’s a Facebook replacement
\nor even a Twitter replacement. Google+ might just become
\na vital key element of Google, if millions upon millions,
\nof its members use G+ as their starting point for “all things
\nGoogle”.<\/p>\n

I have been saying for years that Google should connect
\nall their countless programs together in a “portal” or one
\nentry point.<\/p>\n

This could be it. <\/b><\/p>\n

If Google users use Google+ as their starting point
\nfor “all things Google” then Google+ will be a roaring
\nsuccess. Not just as a social networking site, but as
\nyour own personal link to Google. I don’t believe any other
\nprogram like iGoogle, Google Profiles, Google Buzz… quite
\nfilled that bill. Never really captured the hearts of users,
\nGoogle+ may just be the answer. It may just do the trick.<\/p>\n

Regardless, for webmasters and especially for online marketers,
\nGoogle+ is a must-have marketing tool. Combined with the Google+
\nbutton, it will play a major part in SEO and\/or your Google rankings
\nin the years to come.<\/p>\n

\nWebProNews is making the argument that Google may be
\nre-designing its results pages or how they list their
\nsearch results. Google is testing a page layout where
\nthe left table will move down as you scroll down…
\nat the moment it is static and remains at the top.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Many people believe Google is doing this so that
\nsearch results in the future will all be listed on
\none page… like we now have in Google Image Search.<\/p>\n

If Google does make this change – it will mean that
\n2nd and 3rd page results will be immediately visible
\nas you scroll down. Could make a big difference in
\nhow much traffic you get because most Google users don’t
\nclick beyond the first page.<\/p>\n

I find using Google Image search really great just because
\nyou don’t have to click to another page, like you have
\nto do in say – Yahoo Image Search.<\/p>\n

As I have already told you before, Google is already using
\n“Authorship Markup”… you can tag your content\/listing
\nwith your author’s page and photo. If Google search results
\nare all listed on one page, having your photo next to your
\nlisting will definitely make it more visible and you will
\nget more clicks or traffic than links which don’t have it.<\/p>\n
