As you probably know, I try to keep as informed as I possibly
\ncan about anything dealing with Google and my Google rankings.
\nRecently, Google introduced its “+1 Button” and you can already
\nsee it popping up on many sites.<\/p>\n

Social bookmarking has always been important but I believe
\nwith this new +1 button, it will become an even greater factor
\nfor ranking in Google. The number of +1 clicks your page or
\ncontent receives, will affect your rankings in Google.<\/p>\n

Google has already stated this button will be a new ranking signal
\nand by signal they mean factor. A lot of people clicking that button
\non your content will signal to Google that your content is relevant
\nand\/or important.<\/p>\n

Right now, consistently building quality backlinks to your content,
\nwill just about always get you on the first page of Google. But with
\nlink buying, comment spam, SEO manipulation… that supposedly
\ndemocratic voting factor has become corrupt. Will Google’s own
\n“in-house” button become more manageable in terms of abuse? Will
\nit replace backlinks as the most important factor?<\/p>\n
