Something a little different this week, as you might
\nprobably know, laptops and everything dealing with them,
\nhas been a passion of mine for years. My other big passion,
\nas you all know, is online marketing.<\/p>\n

Rarely do those two interests meet or intersect, but they
\ndid this week!<\/p>\n

Mainly because Google is finally coming out with laptops\/computers
\nbased on their Chrome OS or operating system. We finally have the
\n“Google Box” – one simple device where you can access all the countless
\nprograms Google has to offer.<\/p>\n

Third-party companies, such as Samsung and Acer, will build the
\nChromebooks but these devices will operate or have all Google
\nproducts such as the popular Chrome Browser, which now has over
\n160 million users.<\/p>\n

But many believe myself included, that there is much more behind
\nGoogle’s move than just creating computers. That this move has
\nmore to do with marketing in terms of gathering valuable data and
\nlist building. Google has already announced search data from the
\nChrome Browser may be used in their search results… just imagine
\nthe data they can collect from millions of millions of Chromebooks
\naround the world.<\/p>\n

And it won’t just be the software which Google is offering with
\nthese Chromebook computers… they will lease these Chromebooks
\nout to schools and businesses along with all the support and services
\nneeded to run them. Google is getting into the computer services
\nindustry, which has long been a lucrative market for Microsoft.<\/p>\n

“Nothing but the web”<\/b><\/p>\n

That is Google’s slogan for promoting these Chromebook computers
\nand it’s very appropriate because everything will be web-based
\nor in “the cloud”. You can store\/access all your files, photos,
\nvideos, documents from the web.<\/p>\n

Businesses, schools, and individuals can now have all their computer
\nservices hosted on the web and ready for access – no matter where
\nyou’re located. If you want to find out more about the first Chromebooks,
