If you have a website you will already know how important
\nKeywords are for getting traffic to your site. Keywords are
\nthose all-important words web surfers use to find your site.<\/p>\n

Now Google provides a lot of help with keywords with some
\ngreat tools and information, which are mainly geared to helping
\ntheir Adwords customers but anyone can use these tools. You
\nsimply type in your site and a keyword – then Google will
\ngives you a list of keywords related to your site compared
\nto what people are searching for on the web using Google’s
\nsearch engine.<\/p>\n

They will give you the number of searches made each month
\nand what Adwords users have to pay if they want to buy traffic
\nfrom Google. It also gives you the amount of competition
\nfor each keyword.<\/p>\n

This tool can be helpful in finding new keywords for your
\nsite even if you’re not doing Adwords. It can also help you
\nfind keywords you never thought of using.<\/p>\n

While you’re researching your site’s keywords, keep in mind,
\nlong-tail keyword phrases are those longer phrases which have
\nfewer searches each month but they are much easier to get on
\nthe first page of Google since there is little competition.<\/p>\n

My favorite marketing technique is to study my traffic logs and
\npick out these phrases which are showing up in Google – if any
\nphrases bring in sales or sign-ups, I then place these keyword
\nphrases into article titles and in the anchor text of the resource
\nbox links where I link to the interior page on my site which has
\nthis same phrase in it, so that I can boost my rankings up to the
\nnumber #1 spot in Google for those phrases. Simple but effective
\nlong-tail keyword marketing.<\/p>\n

Advanced Tip: If you want those all-important traffic pulling
\n“Double Listings” for a keyword phrase in Google. Link to both
\nyour homepage and your interior page using the same phrase in
\nyour article resource boxes.<\/p>\n
