\nLately, because of all this buzz about site loading times or speed, I
\nhave been looking at different “CDNs” which stand for “Content Delivery Networks”
\nand could be a possible solution.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

What is a Content Delivery Network?<\/b><\/p>\n

Basically, a Content Delivery Network is simply that: a network of servers that delivers your content to your site’s visitors. It is a form of “cloud computing”
\nwhich means your Internet or computer needs are outsourced and hosted on a third
\nparty site.<\/p>\n

Now the way these networks operate is quite simple – they host your heavy loading
\ncontent such as videos, images, downloads, blogs… on their servers. When a visitor
\ncomes to your site, the content is delivered to them from the server closest<\/b> to them.<\/p>\n

End result – your site loads faster.<\/b><\/p>\n

Keep in mind, most of these CDNs don’t host your whole site, just parts of your
\nsite which can slow it down. I believe these Content Delivery Networks or services
\nwill become more and more popular since Google is placing site speed as a ranking
\nfactor.<\/p>\n

In the very competitive world of SEO every little factor counts, especially in
\nlucrative niche markets where the difference of just one ranking movement (up or down)
\nin SERPs can mean thousands of dollars.<\/p>\n

Now these CDNs are not that expensive. Yahoo has a relatively inexpensive
\nservice and MaxCDN.com is around $10 to start.<\/p>\n
