Don’t know why reading a very informative article by Ben Pfeiffer<\/b>
\non Seroundtable entitled You May Never Recover From Google’s Penguin<\/a>
\ncame as a shock to me. Recovery from Penguin or any Google
\nBlacklisting may be extremely<\/b> difficult, if not impossible.<\/p>\n

This really seems to be the case with Penguin and not so much
\nwith Panda, where site\/content changes can bring back some former
\nGoogle traffic. However, with Penguin the doors may have been
\npermanently closed – your site’s link reputation has doomed it
\nfrom EVER getting any significant<\/b> traffic from Google again
\n– especially from lucrative income producing keywords.<\/p>\n

And it’s not like we weren’t warned since Matt Cutts said, at
\nthe very beginning with Penguin – get rid<\/b> of your domain and
\nstart over. Forget your site, regardless of age or reputation,
\nand transfer your contents to a new domain if you want to get
\ntraffic from Google.<\/p>\n

Maybe Cutts didn’t phrase it in those exact words but that’s
\nthe underlying theme of what’s been reported online in posts
\nand videos.<\/p>\n

While we wait for another major Penguin Update coming in 2013,
\none really has to wonder if all the link changes and link
\nremovals will make a difference in how Google sees your site.
\nWill even using the Google Link Disavow Tool fix what Google
\nbelieves to be your “Spammy Link Profile”<\/b> attached to your domain?<\/p>\n

Perhaps the final verdict will be clearly seen in this next
\nPenguin Update, but for the moment, it looks like Google has
\ndefinitely “Blacklisted”<\/b> certain URLs and recovery from this
\n“Blacklist” will be impossible. Once your site is marked, it’s
\ngame over as far as Google is concerned.<\/p>\n

Even more alarming<\/b>, all those countless hours fixing problems
\nand trying to please Google, may have been a total waste of
\nvaluable time for many site owners affected by the latest
\nGoogle fallout.<\/p>\n
