Traffic Secrets Ain’t So Secret (An Honest
Assessment of John Reese’s Traffic Secrets 2.0)

Just slogged my way thru John Reese’s Traffic Secrets 2.0
- I had to read the badly transcribed Training Manual
because the slickly produced State-of-the-Art CD-Roms
wouldn’t work properly on my trusty Toshiba laptop. The
videos kept crashing - I finally read the minimum requirements
and you need Windows XP or greater, Pentium 4
2.4Ghz Processor with 512 DDR RAM… just to run
these CD-Roms. Gees Louise!

I did manage to watch a few of the opening videos - this
is the way this comprehensive training course on increasing
your website traffic should be viewed. Direct and immediate
instructions, as if you have the perfect view, looking over
John Reese’s shoulder as he goes about explaining all the
major techniques and factors for getting traffic
on the web.

Unfortunately, I had to slowly work my way thru a horribly
transcribed text made from the videos. Given all the
advice Reese gives about outsourcing and creating quality
content - a thorough proof-read and edit would have made
this $400 product more enjoyable if like me you couldn’t
get the videos to work. Reese must have used some kind of
voice to text software - for example, you get different
versions for Adwords such as “add words”, “ad words” and
so on.

Of course, this doesn’t subtract from the solid marketing
information being offered here - just makes it annoying to
absorb. But then again to be fair, this is a VIDEO course
and that’s the best way to absorb this information. Which
I quickly discovered after I upgraded to a new HP Elite Pavilion
PC with Quad Processors and 6 Gigs of RAM - I threw in a 24″
HDMI monitor just to be on the safe side. The CD-Roms worked
spectacularly on my new system.

In any case, no one should dismiss Traffic Secrets because
of a few jumbled words or dangling participles. John Reese
knows his stuff and in the end that’s all that matters.
You’re paying for the information and advice - not your
English teacher’s good graces.

If you’re new to web marketing, you may be wondering who
the heck is John Reese and why should I listen to him or
take his advice?

From running two web sites on Internet Marketing - I follow
most of the major names in online marketing. I first came
across John Reese when he was running a free advertising
site/program called Opportunity.com - which is now closed.
Lately, he has developed a similar type of program for blogs
called BlogRush - which is a free way to promote your blog
posts on other people’s blogs.

Most people know John Reese from when he made Internet
Marketing history by selling over one million dollars worth
of product in a day - that was way back in 2004 and that
product was Traffic Secrets.

Well, it’s four years later and this is Traffic Secrets 2.0 -
it’s a major update on the first TS product. (You get
access to this earlier product when you purchase his latest
offering.) The new traffic course concentrates more on the
new web media sites, social bookmark sites, video marketing…
where online marketing is heading in the immediate future.

I really like the way Reese explains these new ways of
marketing and how you must embrace them in order to fully
succeed on this new web. Reese gives concrete examples,
concrete ways to improve your traffic: go to this site,
check these stats, perfect this method, put this on your sites…
direct practical advice and directions that will help you
build your traffic.

Reese gives you a solid usable “Master Plan” which is composed
of 7 or 8 major areas or Blueprints you have to follow to improve
your traffic. These major areas are further divided into 10-15
steps you have to take to benefit fully from your online
traffic.

Reese describes all these steps in a very detailed fashion
in this traffic course, but don’t expect just one magic
bullet that will bring on the flood of traffic. Rather you get
a whole orchestrated array of tactics you should do to increase
your traffic, a very controlled approach that will get your
traffic numbers snowballing. You also get an online component
and forum to help you out with your traffic building tasks.

To be quite honest, I didn’t find Traffic Secrets 2.0 as
helpful as I expected, mainly because I already knew most
of the material from my own marketing. If you’re already a
full-time affiliate marketer using Commission Junction,
ClickBank, Adwords… with many SEO optimized niche sites
holding many top lucrative keyword listings in Google, much
of what Reese explains will not be new to you.

If you’re already have had a front page listing on Digg and
know the SEO significance of WordPress blogs and the benefits
of using social bookmarking sites, you will be familiar with
many of the techniques and resources covered in Reese’s traffic
course.

However, even judging it from this perspective, I did gain a
lot of valuable knowledge about setting up and running your
own affiliate system, about creating your own video content and
your own software/widgets/programs - all areas that are relatively
new to me. This is where I gained the most knowledge from having
this course.

Guess, what I am saying, like any info product - Traffic Secrets
will only be as beneficial as your level of marketing. If you’re
a complete novice this is an excellent product on increasing your
traffic. If you’re a very experienced marketer, you will gain from
having this product but less so - in my opinion. Mainly, because you
will already be doing most of the things Reese advises you to do.

For me, there were two things that’s worth the price of this
product alone - if you didn’t even bother with all the training
videos and manual!

First, there are the 7 Master Blueprints listing all the steps
you have to take to master/conquer a particular area of Internet
Marketing, for example, “Adwords Attack Blueprint”. Each Blueprint
has around 10 to 15 practical steps you have to take to master
this area of your online marketing, which Reese fleshes out in
the videos.

These Blueprints are some of the best online marketing advice I
have ever seen - putting them all together in this Traffic Secrets
course was a masterstroke and well worth the price alone. Simply
brilliant.

However, even given how good this information is, the best part
of the Traffic Secrets for me had nothing to do with John Reese.
There were two bonus videos of Frank Kern that were simply
spectacular. He presents some ingenius marketing strategies
that any marketer can use… these videos, in my opinion, are
also worth the price of the product alone.

Now, Reese’s product did tell me countless ways to increase
my traffic over the long haul. However, my main beef is not
with Reese but with the whole concept of Web 2.0 traffic -
I really wonder or rather question the real benefits of this
traffic? Most of it is not targeted traffic; most of it is
just plain useless.

With one major important exception - the SEO benefits of
Web 2.0 traffic or listings. Web 2.0 is one way to quickly
get your content to the top of the search engines and you have
probably already noticed how many product videos, social bookmark
listings have jumped to the top of Google. Social media sites
in regards to SEO have become extremely important to anyone
doing business on the web.

I also know the importance of something like the very SEO
friendly WordPress blog software and I use it every chance
I get. I also know the simple power of just adding a simple
social bookmark button like the one from Addthis.com to all
your online content.

But how good is Web Traffic 2.0 in the first place?

I have been on the front page of Digg and gotten 70,000 useless
visitors to my site in one day. I have spent days analyzing
this traffic in Google Analytics. Most of it is very fleeting
and temporary.

This doesn’t mean getting all those social bookmark listings
are useless, just the opposite, for SEO reasons and especially
in Google, you will need those listings in order to rank high
for your keywords. Mainly because quite frankly, what is more
democratic than a link/vote from actual users of these social
bookmark/media sites?

But most of this media traffic is not targeted. It’s no way
near as good in quality as organic SERPs for your targeted
keywords. It doesn’t even come close to PPC from Adwords or
Yahoo! Marketing. If you’re marketing on the web, you want
quality traffic that will convert into a sale or a prospect.

Web 2.0 traffic can be useful but it usually takes a few more
steps to turn it into quality traffic, either thru SEO, or getting
subscribers onto your lists. It’s an indirect way of doing things
but this traffic is still important because anyone marketing online
today has to realize the whole web is changing with video marketing,
social bookmarketing, blogging… the growing importance of sites
like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter… the ever increasing SEO influence
of social media sites like Digg, Slashdot, Technorati… your web
marketing MUST change with the times or simply be left behind.
You must adapt to the new web or go the way of the DoDo bird.

John Reese’s Traffic Secrets 2.0, while not perfect, will still
firmly place you in the “Know” and give you your own “Master Plan”
to acquiring web traffic as we move forward.

One of the very first articles I ever wrote on
Internet Marketing had to do with RSS and it was
entitled “10 Reasons To Put RSS On Your Site.”
That was in 2004 and RSS was somewhat new and
many webmasters were just beginning to place
blogs and RSS feeds on their sites. If you do
a search in Google, you can still find that
article on around 2,000 sites.

Most people now refer to RSS as “Really Simple
Syndication” - although it originally stood for
“Rich Site Summary” and was a very simple way
of summarizing and syndicating your content
in real-time to all interested parties.

RSS had its early beginnings with Netscape in
1991 which introduced the first version of RSS
(RDF Site Summary). Later versions would be
introduced and made popular by Dave Winer of
ScriptingNews and Userland fame who is considered
by many to be one of the major founding fathers
of RSS.

Most people today associate RSS with blogs and
blogging. You can read RSS content by using an RSS
feed reader or “aggregator” which can be desktop
or web-based. Some common feed readers include
FeedDemon, My Yahoo!, iGoogle and Firefox (Live
Bookmarks). You subscribe to your favorite RSS
feed by clicking the small icon on your favorite
blog or site and then when fresh content is
published via RSS your reader can immediately
retrieve and display it for you.

RSS is a very simple way of keeping up to date
and in contact with your favorite site or topic.
It makes staying informed easy to do and it provides
site/blog owners a simple way of distributing their
content.

One can’t but wonder has RSS lived up to all that
early hype?

Perhaps that question can only be answered by looking
at the popularity of blogging and the role it now plays
on the web. No one can deny blogs and their accompanying
RSS feeds carry tremendous weight, no matter which way
you measure it. Can anyone now imagine the World Wide
Web without blogs?

But the importance of RSS goes beyond just blogging,
we tend to forget how important it is for all the
new social media sites like Digg, Technorati, Reddit…
and not to forget fast growing applications like
Twitter.

People also forget RSS feeds play a major role in
online retail and affiliate programs. For example,
you can get an RSS feed of all the latest Amazon
products to place on your site. Many major online
companies now have these product feeds to help promote
and sell their wares.

XML and RSS have blended so seamlessly into many browsers
and operating systems most users are blissfully unaware
they’re even using RSS. Maybe that’s how things should
be; with RSS, the ever-present workhorse, quietly doing its
job behind the scenes.

RSS is just as important now as it was five years ago
- actually its influence and presence has only grown
stronger over the years. If you have not fully embraced
RSS and placed it on your site and in your online marketing
you’re missing out on one of the best opportunities to
spread your message on the web.

RSS is here to stay and even has its own advisory
board to help with the technical and programming side
of RSS. They also list a very handy “RSS Best Practices
Profile” for any webmaster wishing to create their own
XML-based RSS documents. http://www.rssboard.org/

Why should you use RSS?

Well, the list of reasons is quite long but RSS can help you:
syndicate your content in real-time, sell your products, build
your list, gather fresh content, promote your company and boost
that one vital element everyone needs more of on the web - traffic.
For those who have taken full advantage of RSS it has delivered
in more ways than one for it has truly turned into that Golden
Goose with the Midas complex. RSS has simply proven beneficial
to those users who have fully embraced it.

Now, you still don’t really need 10 reasons to put RSS on your
site, do you?

—————————————————–
To add RSS to your Site within minutes - download this
simple RSS Report and Guide.
Or try this more technical RSS Tutorial
One of the most common stumbling blocks to
creating a successful web business is:

How do I create a website?

I hear this all the time from my frustrated
subscribers… especially those who are just
getting started with this web stuff. How do you
make webpages easily and quickly without knowing
all the HTML coding and technical stuff behind it.

There are a lot of free site builders out there
but many times these just don’t give you all
the tools you need to create a webpage or website
that you can use. Or one that looks professional.

Now there’s a new website creation tool I would
like to tell you about called Blinkweb. Their
motto is “Site Creation In The Blink of An Eye”.

Get Blinkweb Free

It’s a great little tool but most importantly
it comes from Brad Callen… I have great respect
for Brad simply because years ago I signed up
for his free 7 Day course on SEO… my site
went from around getting 200 visitors aday
to getting around 2000 visitors aday.

This was the start of me getting some serious
income from the web. I will always be grateful.

And I increased that income further by buying
Brad’s Keyword Elite… still one of best pieces
of keyword research software you can buy.

Now Brad has come out with a free website creation
software that literally lets you create a website
in the blink of an eye. Without knowing all the
codes, scripts… that comes with making web
content.

Here’s what you get:

- Drag and drop interface

- Easily create your own info product salesletter

- TONS of designs to choose from Testimonial boxes,
order buttons, checkmarks etc.

- Add optin forms easily Collect your customer’s name
and email

- Add video to your website Youtube, Google Video, Flickr,
and more…

It really is “Drop Dead Simple”.

If you want an easy way to create web pages this is
the tool for you.

Hope you can check it out:

The Internet is such an unknown commodity anything
is possible. One of the most intriguing questions
concerns the idea of a perpetual traffic machine.
Create a website and design a system of automatic
programs (both interior and exterior) that delivers
content and backlinks to a site that updates itself
automatically and keeps growing without any help
from the creator. In the process you build a flow
of traffic that never stops, even if the site is
abandoned or not touched for a couple of years or
never again.

Is such a perpetual traffic system really possible?

Before you conjure up pictures of HAL and creepy
talking computers in distant space… realize that
question may carry more weight than it would seem
at first glance. But is it like its predecessor,
the perpetual motion machine - just more an illusion
than actual fact?

For curiosity’s sake if for nothing else, the idea
of a perpetual traffic machine does require further
investigation. Such a system would have special
interest for millions of webmasters whose main task
is acquiring traffic for their sites, not to mention
the potential for monetary gain a PTM (rhymes with ATM)
would produce.

Some credence was given to the idea recently when
Tinu Abayomi-Paul, a well-known online free traffic
expert, produced with the help of Marlon Sanders an
info-product entitled “The Evergreen Traffic Machine.”

Tinu’s story is very interesting. Tinu had built up
a whole array of sites and optimized them successfully
for countless keywords in all the major search engines.
She had built up a steady flow of traffic, resulting
in thousands of visitors “a day” to her sites. This in
itself is not that extraordinary, but that’s not the
full story.

Because of a personal illness she abandoned or left
alone most of her sites for over a year or more - only
to discover the traffic systems she had put into place
didn’t just dry up, they still kept producing tons of
traffic even though the sites weren’t being updated.

The traffic was still coming. The traffic was still fresh.

Tinu basically built her perpetual traffic system
around three major areas: High Profile Article
Marketing, Exact Keyword Focus and Blogging/RSS
Feeds. Tinu’s system proves you can create a traffic
system for a year or two, but the real question is
will it still produce traffic five years from now?
Fifty years from now? How about a hundred years?

The real question: how long will such a system work
without fresh input of unique content like the viral
articles and blog posts now feeding it? This question
is even more tantalizing when you consider it is now
possible to create fresh content on your sites with
RSS feeds, blog comments and user contributed content.

What’s more intriguing is the fact that all aspects
of a website can be automated, including payment for
all renewals: domain, hosting, autoresponders… as
well as the collection of revenues such as affiliate
commissions and advertising fees.

Are we at the stage where the Internet will be filled
with these automated human-less web sites drawing
traffic/visitors and slowly building and expanding
on their own for eternity? Many cynics would argue
this is already the case with the majority of sites
on the web.

In case you like that idea and want to fully embrace
this brave new automated perpetual Internet, here are
a few tips to create your own eternal traffic machine:

1. Build lists and pre-load your AR system with follow-up
messages to keep visitors coming back to your site. You
can rotate these messages and ask your subscribers to
opt-in to different lists on related subject areas.
Always ask your readers to recommend your content to
others.

2. Use social bookmark software or links so that your
visitors can easily bookmark your content which brings
in both new links and new traffic. Simple programs like
the one offered by Addthis.com will get your visitors
building your backlinks for you, bringing in fresh
visitors who in turn will also bookmark your content.

3. Write viral articles, reports and ebooks that have
your backlinks in the resource boxes. Likewise, viral
software programs can help bring a constant flow of
traffic to your site. If your content is of a high
quality and your themes universal… new sites will
pick up your content and build your backlinks, creating
fresh traffic. The search engines will also index these
new links and your rankings will increase, bringing in
more traffic.

4. Use blogging and RSS feeds to get your content out
there. You can also use these RSS feeds to bring in
new fresh content to your site. Creating new content
will be your main obstacle to creating perpetual traffic…
you can get new content from feeds but will it be unique?
Comments in your blogs could bring in unique content but
if you’re not monitoring them, you must have solid
software in place to fight against spam.

5. Have “Tell a Friend” forms on all your content.
This will bring new traffic to your site, which can
be self-refreshing as new people discover your content.

6. Encourage user generated content such as articles,
comments, posts… you can even have a community
monitoring system where your site’s members monitor
this new content.

7. Form JV alliances with webmasters in your related
field. Do co-registration so that you help build each
other’s lists and traffic.

8. Likewise, if you have products to sell, create an
affiliate program to get your affiliates to build your
traffic for you. Affiliates are an excellent source of
permanent traffic.

9. Automate all aspects of the running and managing
of your website. Set up automatic payments for your
AR system, hosting, domain renewal, PPC payments…
thru PayPal or credit card. Likewise, receive affiliate
commissions thru PayPal or direct deposit. Many
advertising programs like Google Adsense offer
direct deposit.

10. PPC Traffic - While we have mainly looked at free
traffic systems, don’t forget creating a PTM is relatively
easy with Pay Per Click advertising if you know what you’re
doing. Target less competitive keywords to keep your costs
down, tie this traffic into a good squeeze page for feeding
your AR system with leads and have a good landing page that
converts. You can create a system that delivers perpetual
traffic and pays for itself from your affiliate commissions
and advertising fees.

In summary, the argument for the existence of the PTM
mainly relies upon the quality of your content or site.
Is it unique enough to draw in new visitors? Does your
topic have universal appeal that people never tire of?
Does it solve or offer advice on a common human problem?
Will or does it have a viral “word of mouth” element to it?

As we move to a more and more automated world, all the
automated programs and hardware are in place for the
creation of such perpetual machines.

Computers, autoresponders, content management software,
RSS feeds, viral marketing, direct deposit, automatic
payments… and the list goes on. If we haven’t already
created the perpetual traffic machine - we are getting
tangibly close to doing just that.

Video Series: How To Create A Mini Site That Runs On Autopilot
And Makes You Money While You Sleep!

I spent some time yesterday watching these
12 videos. And it was time well spent for
I gained a lot of information and tips on how
to improve my own online marketing.

These videos will help you or anyone who
is wondering just HOW you go about creating
mini-sites. But not only mini-sites, you
can use this information to improve your
already existing sites and marketing.

The information in these videos is extremely
solid - while I am not an expert on mini-sites,
I use most of these same ideas or variations
of them to earn my own online income so I
know first-hand that they do work.

This is advice or tips that “cut to the bone”,
tips that get straight to what you have to
know and do, what tools you need, what marketing
systems or techniques you have to put into
place to earn an online income.

These mini-site videos were created by
Michael Rasmussen, who is a well-known
online marketer. He did a similar product
a few years ago called “Email Promos Exposed”,
I liked that one so much I included it
as a bonus in my own list building course.

Now Michael has produced another excellent
course - this time on how to create mini-site.
And it will gain just as much praise as
the last one, if not more.

You can find the 12 Free Videos Here:

Mini Site Profits Exposed

Here’s more information on Michael’s
“Mini Site Profits Exposed”

(Submitted from the site)

Most Internet marketers understand that having mini
sites is the fastest and easiest way to make money
online. They don’t require a lot of time, energy, or
money to set up, and once you’ve got one up and
running, you can sit back and just collect money from
all the sales you’re making.

At least… that’s how it’s supposed to be, right?

The truth is that mini sites really ARE easy to set
up. They really DON’T require much time, energy, and
money to set up. So why is it that so few people
actually make money with their mini sites?

The answer is that they never learned how to actually
turn their mini site into a profitable moneymaker that
runs completely on autopilot. The good news is…

*************************************************
YOU’RE ABOUT TO LEARN HOW TO DO IT!
*************************************************

Here’s what this is all about: Michael Rasmussen
has just released a brand new video course that will
walk you through the process of creating a killer mini
site from the ground up, and then he’ll also teach you
how to actually start making money with it right away
and into the future.

If you’ve been looking for help with monetizing your
mini sites, then this is exactly what you need. The
best part? The videos are FREE! I’ll tell you more
about that later. First, let’s talk about the videos
themselves.

*************************************************
OVERALL QUALITY
*************************************************

It’s important to note that these are online videos
that you access from your web browser. Michael uses
Camtasia Studio to create these videos, which is the
premier software program for creating screen capture
tutorials such as these.

The first thing I noticed when I hit the play button
on the first video was the incredible production
quality. These are NOT your ordinary screen capture
videos. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone
make videos that are this high quality before.

He uses beautifully created graphics to pass his
wisdom along to you, and the sound quality is the
highest you will ever hear in an Internet marketing
product. They sound like they were recorded in a
professional studio.

Michael explained to me that he was sick and tired of
seeing all the low quality videos out there, and so he
set out to create something different in order to
raise the bar in our industry. I think that, when you
see Mini Site Profits Exposed for yourself, you’ll
agree that he has succeeded.

Now let’s move onto…

*************************************************
THE ACTUAL VIDEOS
*************************************************

Here’s a brief summary of each video. Obviously
it’s impossible to list every single thing here,
but I want you to get a feel for what each one
covered, and how well it covered it.

VIDEO 1 - INTRODUCTION

This videos introduces you to the entire course, as
well as the teacher himself. You’ll learn what you can
expect from the course, and why it’s structured the
way it is.

Michael realizes that you may not have heard of him,
and so he spends some time establishing his
credibility with you by sharing some of his biggest
successes. It doesn’t come across as bragging at all.
Michael explains that, in order for you to get value
from the teachings, you need to have faith that the
teacher actually knows what he’s talking about. By the
end of this video, you will have no doubt.

By the way, this is a good lesson for all of us
product developers. If you want people to accept you
as an authority on any subject, you first need to
establish your credibility with the reader. That way
he’s willing to relax, and trust that what you’re
telling him is sound advice.

VIDEO 2 - THE BASICS

This video will introduce you to the basics of mini
site marketing. This will set the foundation that all
future learning will rest upon, so it’s important to
pay close attention to this one.

You’ll learn:

* What mini-sites are, and what makes them different
from regular content sites.

* Which businesses they work well for… and which ones
they don’t.

* The right mindset to have when it comes to creating
mini sites as part of your online business strategy.

* And the different tools you need to get started.

This was a great video, and did an excellent job of
kicking things off, and building the foundation for
the rest of the course.

VIDEO 3 - SQUEEZE PAGES

This is probably one of the most useful videos of the
entire course. Every Internet marketer needs to build
an email list, but how do you do it? What is the best
way to capture the most opt-ins?

The answer is ’squeeze pages’. This video will teach
you:

* Why using a squeeze page is far superior to other
opt-in methods.

* The single most important thing you must include at
the top of your squeeze page to skyrocket your opt-in
rate.

* The secret structure of a squeeze page, and why most
marketers get it wrong (which costs them a LOT of
money).

* The most important to include in your opt-in process
that will make sure that people actually receive your
email.

After watching this video, you’ll know everything you
need to know to start building a massive opt-in list
right away. This will probably be the first video that
you ‘take action’ on. You’ll be so excited about the
possibilities, that I guarantee you’ll go and create
your own squeeze page right away.

VIDEO 4 - MINI SITE COPYWRITING - PART
ONE

Nothing happens until the sales copy is written.
Graphics alone will never sell a product, but sales
copy alone WILL. This video begins to demystify the
mysterious process of writing words that make people
whip out their credit cards and buy.

Specifically, you’ll learn:

* Why you need to learn copywriting, even if you “hate
to write”

* What a compelling offer looks like, and how to tell
the difference.

* How to write an eyeball-grabbing headline that
practically forces your readers to go through your
entire page.

* A simple trick you can use in your opening to make
your reader want to learn more.

There is no skill that is more important to your
success than the ability to write killer sales copy.
Make sure you pay extra attention to this video, as
well as…

VIDEO 5 - MINI SITE COPYWRITING - PART
TWO

This video dives right into the individual components
of a killer sales letter. You’ll learn how to create
the “secret structure” of a mini site sales letter
that makes big money. Specifically, you’ll learn:

* How to create captivating body copy that draws your
reader into the sales letter.

* Bullets that force your reader to keep reading the
whole page, and makes them insanely curious and want
to buy your product

* How to take the risk off people’s shoulders, so
they’ll feel safe buying from you.

* How to craft your ‘call to action’, and get people
to whip out their credit cards and buy immediately.

* The secrets of writing a killer P.S. that helps seal
the deal, and flip your prospect into a buyer
instantly.

This video covered a surprising amount of detail,
especially considering that this course is not
specifically about copywriting. Michael Rasmussen is
definitely someone who overdelivers in his educational
products.

VIDEO 6 - HOW TO AUTOMATE THE
DELIVERY OF YOUR INFOPRODUCT

Unless you want to be chained to your computer, you
must learn how to put your mini sites on autopilot.
The only thing you should be doing is driving traffic,
and letting the site itself do all the work, including
the work of instantly delivering the product to the
customer.

This video will walk you through the process of
automating your product delivery, so you can just
relax, and collect the money. The best part is… once
you have this automated system set up, you never have
to touch it again.

VIDEO 7 - HOW TO “GROW” YOUR SALE

This video is guaranteed to be an eye opener for
almost everyone who watches it, even the experienced
marketers. Michael dives into some of the most
effective ‘upselling’ techniques that I’ve ever seen.

Nowhere else on the Internet have I seen such a
thorough tutorial on how to increase the ’size’ of
your orders. You’ll learn:

* The psychology of ‘upselling’, and how to use it
make your customer spend even more money with you.
The best part? He’ll think it was his idea!

* The absolute best time to upsell your customer. This
one will surprise you when you realize how much money
you’ve been leaving on the table by skipping this
step.

* 5 simple techniques to increase your profit by up to
100%.

If you’ve already got a mini site that’s up and
running, this video will make a big difference for you
right away. Use any of these ‘plug and profit’
strategies to increase your income literally
overnight!

VIDEO 8 - CREATING AN AFFILIATE SALES
FORCE

If there’s one thing I’ve noticed that all successful
marketers have in common, it’s that they have a great
affiliate program. They create a program that allows
other people to make good money by promoting their
products, and they get to just sit back and relax,
while everyone else is doing the hard work of
promoting FOR them.

If you’ve ever dreamed of having an army of motivated
sales people working hard to make you money, then
you’re going to love this video. Michael will teach
you:

* What an affiliate program is, and how to set one up
very quickly.

* Exactly what tools you need to give your affiliates
(most people miss the mark here, so pay extra
attention to this part).

* Why merely having an affiliate program is NOT enough
to convince people to sign up, and what you can do
instead to have people eagerly trying to become one of
your affiliates.

* How to motivate affiliates to sell for you.

VIDEO 9 - MINI SITE MISTAKES TO AVOID

Let’s face it… it’s not enough to explain what you
should do. You also need to know what mistakes you
should avoid. Michael has already made these costly
mistakes, but you don’t have to. You’ll learn:

- Why people do judge a book by its cover… and how to
capitalize on that for your mini-site

- The single biggest reason people don’t buy from a
mini site, and how you can apply this ‘instant fix’.

- The single biggest thing that will kill your
mini-site (it’s not what you think, and making this
mistake is a surefire way to drain money from your
bank account FAST!)

- Two list building mistakes that’ll cripple your
long-term profits.

VIDEO 10 - SECRETS OF CREATING A
PRODUCT FUNNEL

This video will walk you through the process of
designing a product line that will make you a TON of
money. There’s a lot more to it than you’d think,
which is why this important concept (which was taken
from direct marketing) gets it’s own video.

After watching this video, you’ll understand why you
can’t just have a single front end product, and you’ll
know exactly what to do in order to get your customer
to keep buying more and more expensive products from
you… completely on autopilot!

This video is a MUST for any serious marketer who
wants to make a lot of money from their online
business.

VIDEO 11 - OUTSOURCING SECRETS FOR
WORKING LESS, AND MAKING MORE

The title of this video says it all. You’ll learn
all of Michael’s secrets for getting top notch
freelancers to help you create your mini site empire
in record time.

Let’s face it, you can’t be an expert at everything
that mini sites require. For example, it’s really
tough to be a top notch graphic designer, while also
mastering HTML, and then becoming a killer
copywriter, on top of also creating the product
itself.

And the list goes on and on. If you want to be
efficient, and begin making money as fast as
possible, outsourcing is the secret to making it
happen. This video will show you exactly what to do,
as well as some common (and very expensive) pitfalls
to avoid.

VIDEO 12 - OUTSOURCING SECRETS FOR
WORKING LESS, AND MAKING MORE

Let’s face it… it doesn’t matter how great your
mini site is if you don’t get any traffic coming to
it. Getting traffic can be one of the most confusing
and mysterious parts of making money online IF you
don’t get the proper education.

Thankfully, Michael really dives in, and gives you a
lightning fast education in this area. Specifically,
you’ll learn:

* How to use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising to get
targeted traffic fast.

* 3 ways to get targeted traffic without spending a
dime.

* 2 ways to leverage the experience and contacts of
other people to explode your traffic.

* 3 traffic strategies to avoid like the plague!

By the time you’re done with this video, you’ll know
what to do right away to begin driving targeted
visitors to your mini site.

DELUXE VIDEOS
*************************************************

Mini Site Profits Exposed comes with 12 videos, and
has more content than most 300 dollar home study
courses. And did I mention that it’s free?

If you decide that you want to continue your
education, and get the biggest possible advantage, you
can also upgrade to the deluxe course for a small fee.
The deluxe course contains four full-length videos
that each cover one advanced topic in great detail.

Here’s a breakdown of each video:

*************************************************
VIDEO 13 - DESIGNING A KILLER BACK END
THAT RUNS COMPLETELY ON AUTOPILOT
*************************************************

This deluxe video could easily be a whole course in
itself. It walks you though the entire process of
setting up a back end that is completely automated
using an autoresponder system.

You’ll learn how to set up your autoresponder to
automatically remove a person from your prospect list
after he buys, and then insert him into your customer
list. This is where your new autoresponder sequence
will start promoting your back end products
automatically.

Bottom line… if you want to make the big bucks like
all the Internet marketing gurus, you need to create a
back end that works hard for you while you’re out
creating new mini sites and developing new products.
This video will show you how.

*************************************************
VIDEO 14 - LIST BUILDING SECRETS
*************************************************

In this deluxe video, Michael will walk you through
some of his best tactics for growing a massive list
from your mini site. He’ll not only teach you what to
add to your mini site, but he’ll also show you what
you must REMOVE from your mini site in order to get
the most possible subscribers.

Building a list is about SO much more than just
offering a free newsletter. In fact, Michael shows you
five different things you can offer your readers to
get them to instantly give you their name and email.

You’ll also learn the best places to actually put the
opt-in email form on your mini site. You’ll also learn
about pop ups and tell-a-friend scripts, as well as a
bunch of other incredible tactics for growing your
list.

I have a hunch that you’ll find yourself referring to
this video over and over again.

*************************************************
VIDEO 15 - MARKETING ACTIVITIES THAT
MAKE YOU MONEY
*************************************************

When you think about all the ’stuff’ you can do to
drive traffic to your site, it’s hard to know what you
should focus on first. This video will walk you
through the four most important marketing activities
you can do to drive traffic to your mini site.

Once you master these four, you’ll never have to
wonder what you should do when you start a new mini
site. You’ll have an easy-to-follow road map for
driving tons of targeted prospects to your site, so
you can begin making money ASAP!

*************************************************
VIDEO 16 - MAKE MAXIMUM PROFITS FROM YOUR MINI SITE
*************************************************

In this final deluxe video, Michael will reveal his
best kept secrets for squeezing maximum profit out of
any mini site. These are techniques that you have NOT
seen before, so you’ll want to pay extra close
attention to this one.

Think about it… if you’re going to put the time in,
and set up a mini site the proper way (like Michael
shows you in these videos), then it only makes sense
that you’d want to make the most amount of money
possible from it.

In this video, you’ll learn:

- How changing one sentence on your mini site could
double your profits easily.

- How to instantly increase the dollar amount of your
average order (which puts more money into your
pocket).

- The one thing you must add to your ‘download page’
that will instantly increase your income (with no
extra work, once this thing is put into place).

- How to turn your actual product into a money making
machine!

*************************************************
CONCLUSION
*************************************************

Whew! That was a lot of information, and I hope it
helped you decide to check out Michael Rasmussen’s
Mini Site Profits Exposed video course. Remember the
course is absolutely free, so you have nothing to
lose.

Michael believes that it’s important for him to prove
himself to you before he ever asks you to buy anything
from him. He wants to show you that he will deliver
you the absolute best education available anywhere,
and he’ll gladly do it for free… just to win you
over!

So go ahead and check out Mini Site Profits Exposed
right now, and see what all the fuss is about. I
highly recommend that you upgrade to the deluxe
course as well. Here’s the URL:

Today I made my first post in a New SiteProNews
blog. SPN has given several online writers and/or
marketers a chance to create their own blogs on
SiteProNews, which is a site mainly aimed at SEO
and online marketing techniques.

This is one of those “win-win” situations, the
writer receives wider exposure and SiteProNews
receives unique content to display.

Since most of my main sites are geared to Internet
marketing SPN is a good match for me. One of my own
long-term marketing strategies has been to hand-pick 6
or 7 top level sites to display my content. Google likes
people and sites who are connected to other closely
related sites. (As long as you don’t paid for those links!)

Most of my Posts at SiteProNews will be on my own
marketing tactics and experiences. Concentrating
on affiliate marketing as applied to search engine
optimization.

Along those lines my first post has to deal with
“Monetizing Traffic vs Monetizing Websites” - where
I look at some of the lucrative distinctions to
monetizing your traffic instead of your website…
