Don’t know about you, but for me getting higher conversion
rates from my webpages has been a constant problem ever since
I started marketing online over 10 years ago. Getting more sales
and leads from your site’s traffic is probably high on your list
of things you want to improve.

Higher conversion rates simply means more money for you!

The more visitors you can convert into a sale or a lead; the
more successful your online marketing will be. End of story.

However, converting or monetizing your traffic/visitors is
another one of those “million dollar questions” – get this
right and you will be smiling all the way to the bank. Needless
to say, since I devote the majority of my time to examining
and testing different web marketing tools, I have used many
different ways over the years to try and increase my conversion
rates. Some have worked, many more have not.

I have placed my most successful ways to boost my conversion
rates in an article below. Keep in mind, I am a hands-on
marketer and do all web design, seo and marketing myself,
so anything that works immediately jumps out at me. I am constantly
tweaking my sales pages/sites to get higher conversion rates
to improve my bottom line.

So here are a few things that have worked for me and hope
they will be of some help to you in your marketing.

When it’s all said and done, your conversion rate – how effectively
you can turn your website traffic or visitor into a sale or lead -
will greatly determine how well you succeed in your online marketing.
This magic number will obviously play an important role in the
profitability of your webpages or site.

The higher the rate, the better you will do.

If your goal is to earn more revenue, then your main objective is
to raise your conversion rate to the highest possible level that you
can achieve. If you have 100 visitors coming to your site and you make
one sale, then your conversion rate is 1%. Increase your conversion
rate to 10% and you will make 10 sales.

Obviously, the last scenario is the one you want. However, this is
easier said then actually done. If it was so easily done, we would all
be sporting Donald Trump hairdos and buying up half of Manhattan,
even in these tough economic times.

However, there are many things you can do to increase your conversion
rates. Some of them are very simple and some of them not so simple.
Since I am a full-time affiliate marketer and run two sites on Internet
marketing tools, I am constantly testing out new tools and strategies
to help increase my conversion rates.

I would like to give you some tactics and tools which I am using to increase
my sales and leads. These are strategies/factors you should examine
to see if you can use them with your own site and webpages.
Sometimes, it is just a matter of tweaking your sales copy, using a
pop-in form, putting viral elements on your pages, or simply targeting
the right keywords.

So here are some things to consider if you want to increase your
conversion rates:

One of the more effective marketing tools that have come
my way recently has been ExitSplash by Dave Guindon.
This is a system where you capture the visitors leaving
you site and turn them into leads or prospects.

ExitSplash will help increase your website conversions
and bring in more business. There are four or five different
PHP scripts you can put on your pages in order to more
effectively use the traffic your site is receiving.

I really like the ViralTwitterBox which you can put
on all your webpages. Your visitors can then tweet
your message/ad in order to receive a gift. Great
way to take advantage of the ever increasing popularity
of Twitter.

You can also use another PHP script to add audio
to your exit page to really capture your visitor’s
attention. There are plenty of professional graphics
and templates you can use to put all this stuff onto
your site or sites.

ExitSplash also comes with 7 or 8 videos explaining
how to set-up all these scripts on your webpages.
I found the whole product very professionally done
and I am in the process of setting many of the scripts
onto my different sites. This is just something extra
to increase my conversion rates… much like
PeelawayAds which I am also using on many of my sites.

That’s why using Google can increase your own conversion
rates by building online trust. You should have a Google
Profile set-up which you can then promote.

Google will now be showing these profiles in their search
results so this is a Marketing Must-Have. It’s easy to do
and it’s all free.
