and flash along with all that power and performance.
It's their business. They are great at it. And they
have just become greater!
Alienware is releasing its next level of gaming laptops
and PCs - their ALX gaming machines. The laptop version
Aurora mALX has some very impressive specs:
Dual 256MB nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GTX graphics cards
Dual hard drives up to 400 GB RAID SATA
AMD Turion 64 Mobile Processors
Up To 2 GB of DDR 400MHz Memory
19 Inch Display
No doubt there are faster systems out there with faster

But just forget the specs and performance for one moment,

style and looks. But most of all, they are selling an image.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, high end gaming
laptops are all about style. They are all about projecting
the right image.
Alienware realizes this better than any of the other makers.
They have always been known for creating some great looking
'kick-ass' machines. Like all the other high-end laptops
those great looks come with a hefty price tag.
But can you have Paris without the Hilton? Can you really
have all the power without all that flash?
Yes you can, but where's the romance in that?
Alienware, in my opinion, knows this fact better than
any of the other high performance laptop makers. For
Alienware style is king.
They know style and looks sell.
Truth be told, would you really buy a Ferrari if
it looked like a Model T?
Lifestyles sell. Emotions sell.
Any luxury product or any product for that matter, must
appeal to the emotions first. They must satisfy an innate
emotional need which the buyer has and wants fulfilled.
Even if that emotional need is so elementary as the old
machismo one-upmanship: my machine is faster then yours.
Mine is bigger than yours!
Buyers must have or develop an intimate relationship
with their toys. They must have an emotional investment
in all those high priced chips and pixels. This is one

Alienware has gotten the marketing angle down pat. They know
luxury buyers have to be given the royal treatment especially
if they're buying online. They also know these gaming buyers
expect to be pandered, courted and attended to with the up most
customer service. They must fulfill this part of the relationship
or it's game over.
After all, buying a high end gaming laptop like the Aurora mALX
