o BlackBerries, Coupons and Cyber Mondays

More and more people are shopping online.
More than ever.

Many factors are pushing consumers online:
high gas prices, free shipping, the convenience
and the ever growing importance and presence
of the Internet in our daily routines.

Many online marketers and webmasters are gearing
up for Cyber Monday - the day that many holiday
shoppers start their online buying frenzy.

The real world has Black Friday - the virtual world
has Cyber Monday...

Commericialization of the Web can be a bad or
good thing depending on your own viewpoint but
there's no denying the fact that many shoppers would
prefer to shop online. With fast and free shipping,
online stores and products also become more desirable
for the cyber shopper.

Add to this, the great deals that can now only be
found online, and you have a significant amount of
coin changing hands in cyber space. If you're an
online marketer - you have to find ways to place
your site or sites into all this shopping activity.

One simple way is to offer good quality information
on a product or service. Make it easier for the online
shopper to find what they're looking for or explain exactly
what they're buying and why. Compiling information,
reviews, or related (themed) products into one
convenient site or group of webpages can be very
profitable for the online eMarketer.

To explain further what this can look like, below are
three examples that I have tried. These are simple guides,
webpages, that relate to one common theme that helps
the online shopper in some way.

All these pages are popular, all these pages earn
me money. It's a very easy way to monetize your
site or sites. If you're trying to earn an income
for your site or blog, perhaps a look at these
pages would be helpful to you. So many marketers
give theories and formulas but so few good real
examples. Most are too wise to actually show/give
examples of what earns them money on their
sites. But what the heck, it's the season of
giving...

Here are these examples:

o Corporate Business Gifts

Simple guide to some corporate business gifts
for the employee or boss. Everyone has to consider
this situation at one time or other, buying a corporate
gift for the boss or employee.

These pages just list some examples and products
to consider. Mostly high tech gadgets dealing with
businessware but also the usual gift fare: wine,
jewelry, personalized pens and business card sets,
high end laptops...

And as cyber Monday comes around -- these pages heat up...
have a gander here:
Corporate Business Gifts

o Dell Coupons

Another simple page offering Dell Coupons and
discounts. Some people hate Dell, other people
love Dell and wouldn't dream of buying anything else
but a Dell. This is a page for the Dell lovers!

Most of Dell's loyal customers wouldn't dream of
buying a Dell product without first using a
Dell coupon or two. This page on my site list
different Dell coupons and is updated daily.

This is an extremely hard page to keep on Google's
first page results. The keyword phrases 'Dell Coupon
and Dell Coupons' are very competitive. Over 125,000
searches a month. Maybe a lot more this month and
next as we head into the holiday season.

Doubt if I can keep my site up there for very long,
but it's a very good keyword phrase to have.

And if you're one of those DEll Lovers you can
check out my Dell Coupon page. It comes in handy
if you're planning on buying a Dell Laptop or computer.
Dell coupons means signicant savings if you're buying
from Dell.

Check out the page here:

Dell Coupons

o Online Laptop Guide

Laptops are so popular, everyone wants one!

This is a simple online notebook guide on
my site that explains all the things you need
to know about laptops. It started as a simple guide
but it is becoming much more detailed as notebook
technology keeps improving and changing. Of course,
I try to keep up with all this new technology, but
I have developed a keen interest in all things laptop
- and that helps a lot. It doesn't seem like work
when you're having fun!

Besides, I have found after reading thousands and
thousands of laptop reviews and technological articles
on laptops. You do pick up a lot of information. Plus
personally writing and building a two - three hundred
page guide on the different aspects of the laptop sort
of keeps you in the picture.

This has been the most challenging and most profitable
part of my whole website. Many people have bookmarked
this quide and come back to it time and time again.
For me - if someone bookmarks your site - it's the
ultimate sign of a successful site. Sales are necessary
but secondary. If you help people first, the sales
will come later. That's a sort of unwritten
rule that governs the whole Interent...

You can check out my simple notebook guide here:

Notebook Buyer's Guide

o Google Goodies Galore!

Most people I know love Google! I can't say
the same for any other online entity. Try saying
Microsoft and you will get some sour looking faces
staring back at you!

Why does Google command so much respect (and dare we say
love) by the majority of Internet users?

I believe it has to do with a couple of factors, if
I may be so bold and put my 2 cents in the pot. With
your permission that is!

One, Knowledge Givers receive our respect, attention
and gratitude. Teachers, Doctors, Grandparents, etc. and
the like, all command the most respect in our lives.

Google, more than any of the other search engines gives
the best quality search results. Cumulative effect of
all those years of searching in Google has payed off in
dividends of respect. Because you're worth 80+ billion
doesn't even enter into this picture. Honest!

Google has earned our respect. And people love
Google for it!

Of course, there's a much more simplier reason why
people love Google. It may just be all of those free services
that Google dishes out. Good quality services that has built
up a reservoir of respect for Google and the Google product.

I personally use many of these services each day,
Google Search, Google Alerts, Blogger, Google Adsense,
Google Images... all great, all free... the list goes on.

Here's a somewhat frightening list of all the Goodies
Google has or is offering:

o What The Heck Are Chitika eMiniMalls?

That was my first question I asked when I found
out that Joel Comm had released a new book
entitled Joel Comm's Chitika eMiniMalls Secrets.

I didn't know what Chitika eMiniMalls were but
I sure knew who Joel Comm was! I have been
featuring his Adsense Secrets ebook and course
on my site for some time and it is a very
popular seller.

If you don't know, Joel Comm is the guy who
sold ClassicGames.com to Yahoo for a good penny
and makes zillions each month from Google Adsense.

I had the first part of the puzzle solved but
what the heck were Chitika eMiniMalls - a chain of
banana/split parlors???

Then I check out the Chitika site and quickly
signed up! I had seen and used Chitika's ads
and wondered what they were but I hadn't placed
a name on them. They are banner ads done right -
totally interactive and very interesting.

Originally designed for blogs, these are something
you should definitely check out.

These are and will prove very popular with your
website visitors. There's a great referral program
and you should check out Chitika eMiniMalls
by reading this article:

What The Heck Are Chitika eMiniMalls?

What are Chitika ads or eMiniMalls? You have probably
seen thousands of them on the web, you may even have
used a few without knowing exactly what they were
called.

Keyword based and Java script powered, Chitika eMiniMalls
are popping up everywhere on the web. Matched to content
or context - these ads hit targeted consumers who are
searching for information on particular products. Surfers
can interact (search, read reviews, even find the best price)
without having to leave the webpage they're viewing. Big
Plus for both the surfer and the website owner. It provides
valuable content or information without the surfer having
to leave the webpage. And since these product ads are
directly targeted to your site's content you have a better
chance of keeping your visitor's attention while offering
an advertising product.

Chitika (pronounced CHIH-tih-ka) ads are revolutionary in
design. It presents all the features that makes the Internet
so convenient for shopping. Information, images, reviews,
comparison shopping and search links are presented right
in one spot. The banner ad itself!

Many believe online advertising takes a small step forward
with Chitika eMiniMalls. These cool looking online ads may
just give Google Adsense a run for its money. It may just be
a better all-around package for webmasters, consumers and
advertisers.

These Chitika ads display pictures as well as textual
content and information. If a picture is indeed worth
a thousand words, it might also mean more sales for
the advertisers. Ads with images of the actual products
will give the prospective buyer a solid image of what's
being discussed. Ads with images usually out preforms
ads with just text.

The Chitika eMiniMalls were launched on June 20, 2005 by
Chitika Inc. - a Massachusetts based contextual advertising
services provider. Chitika was founded in May 2003. According
to their website, Chitika means "in a snap" in the South Indian
language Telugu.

For webmasters, Chitika presents another advertising
revenue option besides Google Adsense. There is even
a Referral system where webmasters can earn 10% of what
their referrals earns for up to 12 months. Since Chitika
plans to return 60% of ad revenue to publishers this may
prove to be a lucrative alternative advertising system
for many webmasters.

Chitika eMiniMalls are extremely easy to use. You can
customize your ads, banner size/shape/color to blend in with
the layout of your site and you can also program in your
keywords to match the content on your site. You can pick
just one product or you can rotate numerous products with
eMiniMalls. Webmaster can have up to 1000 channels to help
track their ads.

Once you have the Java code - you just place this code
on your webpage where you want the ads to appear. These
can also be used on blog posts and there is even a plugin
for WordPress, created by x74.org that you can use.

You can keep track of your stats from your login affiliate
page - previous day's stats are reported each day. Monthly
payments are made by Paypal on earnings of $10 or more.
Checks are used if a webmaster doesn't use Paypal - the
payout minimum is $50.

Chitika eMiniMalls may prove to be another popular revenue
stream for webmasters and content providers. These Chitika
ads will enhance any website with targeted products that surfers
can explore further while staying directly on the webpage.
It may just be this interactive feature that makes eMiniMalls
an advertising winner for all concerned. An innovative
advertising solution whose time has arrived.

o Insider Secrets of an eBay Millionaire

The facts for eBay are totally astounding:

* Over 2 MILLION people visit eBay every SINGLE day
- looking for products to buy!

* eBay is one of the most visited selling sites on
the WHOLE Internet

* Visitors spend around 2 hours shopping on eBay
every visit (72% of eBay users make over $50 grand
per year)

* eBay has 147 MILLION members and is still growing

* eBay handles $1,000 in sales every second that
translate into $86 million per day

Obviously, there's a lot of money to be earned using
eBay. You just have to know how to work the eBay system.

I must admit I have had no dealing with eBay whatsoever -
it's one area of the web I have not explored in any
great detail. Only reason I am examining it now is because
IMC Internet Marketing Center - has released a very
popular eBay product.

eBay Secrets

I have not been marketing IMC much since the death
of Corey Rudl last year in a racing car accident. Now
IMC is run by Derek Gehl.

Back in the dark ages, I earned my first affiliate
check from IMC and Corey Rudl. It was my first
affiliate sale on the Internet. I believe the check
was only for $7 but it really opened my eyes to affiliate
marketing and they are still open. Getting wider every
day.

Once you work out a system on the Internet, once you
know how to make one dollar, 7 dollars or a hundred
dollars per sale - YOU'RE in the game.

Once you have figured out how to make the Internet
work for you - no matter if you're working eBay,
affiliate sales, google adsense, etc. - all you
have to do is get more traffic, make more pages,
or find more things to sell. Once you know HOW -
it's only a matter of working your system or
methods.

Most of what I do on here is in affiliate marketing,
it's one area I have studied and practiced for years...

I have learned enough to figure out that if you
wanted to very quickly learn about another area of
the Web - say eBay - I would turn to an expert in
that field. Someone who knows how to work the eBay
system. Knows the ins and outs of how exactly to
make an good income from eBay.

In this case it's Brandon Dupsky, someone who has
figured out a system to make $20,000 a day from
eBay and he has sold over $20 million worth of
goods on eBay.

He probably knows a thing or two about how it's
done! How eBay really works.

Knows how to set up an auction, how to create the
ads, how to promote it...

If you're interested in working the eBay system or
just want to find how eBay really works - try this

Google Goes Wireless In The Land Of The Free

Google Goes Wireless In The Land Of The Free
Titus Hoskins Copyright © 2005.

In the heart of Silicon Valley a revolution is about
to take place. It could change the Universe as we
know it. Don't laugh, this revolution will grab you
by the short wires and turn your world upside down.

It will affect your life and the lives of your children's
children. It might just be the spark that changes
everything...

It all has to do with the Internet.

Someone wants to give the Internet its wings. Get rid
of all those wires and monthly bills. Set it free.
Let it fly among the stars. Broadcast it out into
the stratosphere. Or in other words - make it free
for everyone.

And it's about time.

Are we talking about a free wireless Internet for the
masses? Well, not exactly and not yet. But it's the start
of such a concept that could quickly become a reality
for many people very soon. It has to start somewhere
and why not in Silicon Valley. Where else would you want
to start a free wireless revolution but a place that really
knows how to cash in its chips.

And who else would you expect to lead this
Internet Parade than Google; the all knowing,
all seeing, omnipotent and undisputed ruler of
the mighty cursor.

Google wants to give free broadband Wi-Fi service
to the small city of Mountain View, sometimes AKA-ed
as the Capital of Silicon Valley. Located between
the Santa Cruz Mountains and San Francisco Bay,
Mountain View is home to around 72,000 young,
vibrant and smart residents. The median age is
32.8 years old. Pure Google fodder.

Google has proposed a system of providing free
Wi-Fi via 300 transmitters on light poles which would
virtually make the city one big hotspot. City
leaders now have to decide if Google should get the
go ahead for this free Internet. In its proposal,
Google has plainly stated its own self-interest in
such a system.

"In our self-interest, we believe that giving
more people the ability to access the Internet
will drive more traffic to Google and hence more
revenue to Google and its partner websites."

Obviously, Google has everything to gain. Ad revenue
and the Internet is its lifeblood. Why not expand that
lifeblood. And why not make the Internet pay for itself.
Why shouldn't it be free and ad supported - cut out all
those ISP monthly bills users now have to pay.

Will the majority of Internet users be willing to
give up their ISP bills for a few Google ads on
webpages? In a heartbeat!

Sure, there will be naysayers, all revolutions have
them. Commercialism of the web is a totally bad road
to traverse. Capitalism is wrong. But it's a moot
argument, the web is already monetized up to the yin-yang.
Users should get something back for a change. It might
be totally in Google's self-interest to give people a
free Internet but there's no denying that such a gesture
would also be a way of sharing all that ad revenue.

A free Internet that spans the Globe and beyond -
available to everyone. Such a system is probably a
natural evolution. The Internet is already turning into
a billion channel universe broadcasting its contents
into the stratosphere. Why not give all this content
some wings.

Why not make this broadcasting system free and ad
supported. There's a subtle democratic gesture in
what Google is offering. Will people accept this
offer or try to hold back evolution. Will they enable
Google "to be a good corporate citizen and play a
pioneering role in a public-private partnership
to bridge the digital divide."

Of course, this is just the start, if Google's
Proposal flies, a free Internet will only be a
click away.

Today, Mountain View. Tomorrow, the Universe.

Bring it on! I want my Free Internet!

o The New Google Adsense Referral System

Some good news for a change. Google is opening up its
Adsense program to referrals. You can now earn money
by referring people to Google! It's only a one-time
payment and not a two-tier system but it will put
a lot of money into quite a few webmasters' bank accounts.

Read this article to see the details... happy googling!

How to Monetize Your Site With Google Adsense Referral Program

The New Google Adsense Referral System
(Increases Revenue For Webmasters)
Copyright © 2005 Titus Hoskins

Google has recently announced a Referral Program for
its targeted ad delivery system - Google Adsense.
Webmasters can now earn an extra $100 for each new
referral they deliver to Google Adsense, one condition
- that referral must earn at least $100 from the Adsense
Program.

Webmasters can also receive $1 for each download of the
Firefox browser with the Google Toolbar. Generally,
very good news for webmasters and content creators
working the Adsense program. Bad news for Gates and
IE - the Firefox browser has gradually taken away users
from IE. Onestat.com reports usage worldwide of Firefox
has increased by nearly 3 percent since April 2005, with
global usage share now at 11.5 percent for Firefox.

Perhaps, the fall out from the ongoing battle for control
of the Web's search market will be of some benefit to
webmasters. Google has now increased or given webmasters
another revenue stream within the Adsense program.
Granted this is only a one time payment and not a two tier
system where webmasters would continue to earn a small
percentage of their referrals' earnings. This may be a missed
opportunity by Google to really explode the Adsense system.

For now, the Google Referral program is a good start in the
right direction. Many webmasters and marketers are having
an early Christmas with the announcement of this referral
program.

Google Adsense is a simple and effective way for ordinary
webmasters to monetize their sites. Webmasters place the
Adsense code on their sites and Google delivers targeted
ads based on the keywords of the sites. The main key to
generating a large monthly income from Adsense lies mainly
in the choice of keywords a webmaster decides to display
on his/her webpages.

All keywords are not created equal. Some are worth more
to advertisers and thus Google pays more to webmasters
for certain keywords than others. The trick for webmasters
is to deliver large amounts of traffic to the top-paying
keywords. What are these top paying keywords you ask?

One simple way to find the top paying keywords is to use
a site like overture.com to find out what advertisers are
willing to pay for certain keywords. Just use common
sense - higher priced items will have usually pay the most.
Web hosting vs a toothbrush. Once they have chosen their
keywords, webmasters must create content rich pages
or sites related to these keywords or phrases.

You then have to place your Google Adsense code in the most
beneficial positions on your pages. Check with Google for
Optimization Tips for some of the best paying placements here:
Adsense Optimization Tips

Google Adsense is not a perfect system, placing these
ads on your sites could draw away potential customers
or buyers and result in lost sales for your site.
Besides just placing the 'Ads by Gooooooogle' on a well
designed webpage detracts from the professional quality
of your pages. Why Google introduced this for its ads
defies reason. A simple 'Ads by Google' would suffice.

Many webmasters believe placing Adsense ads on their
pages cheapens their sites. Other believe it is delivering
valuable links and service to their visitors. No matter
what your opinion may be - Google Adsense is definitely
a simple and easy way to monetize your site.

The addition of the Referral program will only add to
the popularity of Adsense with webmasters. Increased
revenue is never a bad thing. However, Google should have
opened their pocketbooks just a little wider and
given content creators a bigger portion of the Internet's
ever growing ad revenue.

Google should have given the referral program some
residual kick, with webmasters earning a small fraction
of each referral's future earnings. What a missed
opportunity for Google to really play Santa and give
webmasters what they deserve.

Webmasters must now lobby Google, and any other ad
delivery programs and companies for a bigger share
in the revenue generated by their referrals. Fair is
fair! Perhaps, the competition from other ad delivery
systems will force Google to be a little more generous.
In the meanwhile, it would probably be beneficial for
many webmasters to use and promote Adsense, at least
until a better offer comes along.
